Gibsons Studios & Galleries
If there is one thing Gibsons is not short on it is local talent in the arts. Gibsons Studios & Galleries are full of truly talented local artists. There is a Purple Banner Route that has been organized by the Coast Cultural Alliance that guides you to the individual studios as well as some local galleries that display work. The Coast Cultural Alliance is a non-profit group that is dedicated to promoting local artists. The group has produced an Art Studio map that is available from the Visitors Centre located on Marine Drive in lower Gibsons, as well as online at:

Artistic forms include photography, pottery, crafters, paintings, textiles, and local native artwork.
Some of the best that you must check out are:
- Gibsons Public Art Gallery - 271 Gower Point Road, Gibsons
- Landing Gallery Co-operative - 436 Marine Drive, Gibsons
- Sunshine Coast Museum - 716 Winn Road, Gibsons
- Gift of the Eagle Gallery - 689 Gibsons Way, Gibsons
- Art Barn - 2212 Oldershaw Road, Gibsons
There are many more local artisans who you can find at the local Sunday Markets. There are two, one in lower Gibsons, and the other is a Farmers Market in upper Gibsons behind the ice arena. A few times a year, especially around Christmas, there are local craft fairs as well. The Coast Reporter Newspaper often has a listing for these events under the Announcement section in the Classifieds.
