To get here you have a few options, depending on where you are coming from.
Vancouver to the Sunshine Coast
BC Ferries is the most popular means of travelling to the lower Sunshine Coast from Vancouver. Schedules change twice a year and service announcements for delays and interruptions to the service can me found on their website,
BC Ferries.
Schedule and fare information can also be found there. The route you will travel to reach Gibsons from Vancouver is Horseshoe Bay / Langdale.
This ferry runs about every 2 hours from 7:20 am until 9:15pm 7 days a week. Reservations are recommended during peak travel times and holidays.
Malaspina Bus Lines offers two roundtrips from Vancouver through the Sunshine Coast to Powell River twice daily. For detailed schedule information and fares, contact

Water Taxi is another option and there is water taxi service from Vancouver. Coastal Water Taxi offer a service for travellers from just outside the Vancouver airport to any destination on the lower Sunshine Coast allowing people to bypass the BC Ferry system. Call 1-604-740-1912 to make arrangements.
Seaplane Service from the South Terminal at YVR is also available, as well as Seaplane service from downtown Vancouver.
Westcoast Air
offers service from both the South Terminal Sea Plane Float at YVR and downtown Vancouver. These are scheduled flights and fares and availability can be found on their website.
Tofino Air
offers scheduled service from the South Terminal Sea Plane Float. Scheduled flights and fairs can be found on their website.
Victoria to the Sunshine Coast
Travelling from Victoria to the Sunshine Coast you only have one option, seaplane service. There is no direct BC Ferry service, however you can cross from Vancouver Island to the Sunshine Coast, Powell River from Courtenay. See Courtenay to Powell River for details.
Tofino Air
offers limited seaplane service between Pat Bay/Victoria and Sechelt. Check out their website for scheduled flight times and fares.
Gibsons/Sechelt to Powell River
To get to Powell River from the Gibsons / Sechelt end of the Sunshine Coast involves further water travel.
BC Ferries offers service every 2 hours or so (with a 4 hour break in service mid day) from Earls Cove to Saltry Bay. Check the

website for scheduled sailing times. The route you are looking for is Earls Cove to Saltry Bay.
Malaspina Bus Lines offers service twice per day from the Gibsons / Sechelt area to Powell River. Check their

for scheduled departure times and fares.
Courtenay to Powell River
Travelling from Courtenay on Vancouver Island to Powell River, you have a few choices.
BC Ferries offers service 4 times daily. Check their
website
for scheduled sailing times and fares. You are looking for the Little River to Westview route.
