In Roberts Creek there is a great ranch that offers trail rides for beginner riders and experienced (all riders over 12). There are many trails to explore and, from experience, the horses are very friendly and easy to ride. It is very cheap (25.00 an hour) and worth it.

Tracey here, and thanks for your question. I have done a little research for you on horseback riding in Gibsons.
The only horseback riding available for trail rides on the entire Sunshine Coast (Gibsons, Roberts Creek, Madeira Park) is Malaspina Ranch Stables in Madeira Park. You can reach them at 604-883-1126.
I inquired with a local 'horse person' in Gibsons for you and was told that due to high liability insurance premiums, Malaspina Ranch Stables is the only stable offering trail rides at this time.
